Balanced Body Bridge Program

Students who have completed their Mat or Reformer certification through other organizations can take the BBU curriculum and receive a certificate of completion from BBU. Students will need to provide proof of completion of a comparable Mat or Reformer program before being accepted into Balanced Body University.

Balanced Body Mat Training

Become trained in Mat only – or make it apart of your Comprehensive Pilates Training.

The BBU Pilates Mat certification includes the complete Pilates Mat repertoire as well as an introduction to the movement principles that make Pilates such a successful exercise program. Modifications and variations are included to help you successfully teach a wide range of clients. BBU Pilates Mat certification will empower you to become a successful, creative and transformative Pilates teacher.

Balanced Body Reformer Training

Become trained in Reformer only – or make it apart of your Comprehensive Pilates Training.

The Pilates Reformer is an extraordinarily flexible piece of exercise equipment allowing resistance and support for exercises involving every part of the body. Our program gives you a thorough understanding of how to use the Reformer to develop core and extremity strength, stability, flexibility, coordination and balance. The wide range of exercises provides a stimulating workout for clients at any level of ability.

Anatomy

Anatomy is not required before you sign up for Balanced Body Mat or Reformer.  But this is an important subject and we  highly recommend you taking a course if you haven’t already.  Anatomy is required before you test out for Reformer and for the Apparatus Modules.
